Firstly very quick safe deliveryI have used this oil several times now in cooking - it has a delicate flavour that even when cooking fish does not over power. It does not have any smell or smoke even when it is hot. The health benefits according to the information given is very impressive.I would recommend
This oil arrived, in it's eye catching bottle, enclosed in a plastic bag - to protect against any spillage). It has a really vibrant, yellow colour to it and he bottle looks really funky on my stove!I've used it for frying and as an ingredient, in American style pancakes, where it worked perfectly. So far I can't fault it, it has all the properties I look for and no overpoweringly oily taste. With it's higher smoke point and elevated levels of Omega 9 it's got to be a winner. With a RRP at £9.99 it is more expensive than "standard" sunflower oil but it's benefits make it worth the extra, a litre will last a long time in my household!
I am so incredibly happy to find exactly the product I was looking for! This oil is amazing with neutral taste and smell (I don’t like taste of olive oil) if I fry cutlets, I don’t need to change the oil after each batch as I did before, because the oil doesn’t burn no matter how much I fry, it's so convenient! and I also plan to use it for massage, perhaps adding a drop of lavender oil for aroma. And... I’ll try to drink a spoonful on an empty stomach, it’s very health-improving. I am sure this oil definitely worth this money!
You get what you pay for right? Looking at all the bits on this, it does seem like a very healthy natural oil. I use oil a lot in cooking but if I am to be honest, I've never really focused on the nutritional value so for comparison my expertise is lacking but if I were to take the description at face value then this does seem a lot better. It also states it contains 82% oleic acid making it better for cooking, now that I can attest to as what I have cooked with it, especially the noodles which I usually end up either making too crispy or too drenched, came out perfectly. Everything tasted great, which for me, is the most important thing. At £9.99 however, you're paying quite a high price, although some of that is the fact it comes right to your doorstep. I don't think you need to use as much of this as regular oil, at least I didn't and it cooks brilliantly, so I do think it's worth the price, I just wish it was slightly less. Currently though it's on offer for £7.22 which while still high, is much more reasonable. If you got the budget then I absolutely recommend it.
This 1 litre bottle of sunflower oil is made from sunflower seeds from the Ukraine and the plant-based oil is an excellent alternative to olive oil. The oil has a nice mild taste that doesn’t interfere with the flavours of your dish. Personally, I have been using it in our air fryer for both chips and chicken and it is ideal for this purpose, but can also be used for cooking a variety of dishes either in the oven or over the hob. This sunflower oil is substantially higher in monounsaturated fats (62% higher when compared to regular sunflower oil) due to the high percentage content of oleic acid which is a monounsaturated fatty acid and the oil is also lower in saturated fats (3% lower when compared to regular sunflower oil) with a high smoke point of 235°C, meaning that the nutrients remain intact making it a much healthier alternative. It is also high in omega 3, 6 and 9 and vitamins E & K all of which are good for overall heart health.Priced at £8.50 at the time of reviewing, it is obviously a fair bit more expensive than your standard sunflower oil, but it is a much healthier alternative and one that I will definitely be repurchasing.
This is a 1L bottle of sunflower oil. It is high in oleic which is slightly healthier (as healthy as oils can be). It tastes like sunflower oil so no surprise there. I fried egg and potatoes and it added a nice crisp and taste to the chips. However, it seems a bit pricey for what it is. High oleic sunflower oil can be pricey in general feom a search around but it's hard for me to believe that frying with oil is healthy no matter the oil you use.
Satisfied with this product.Thanks
It is very good, pure and healthy oil.
It cooks well and tastes fine but no better than a well known commercial brand at a quarter of the price.
I am a big fan of this oil. It has no taste that affects the taste of the food, is healthier than cheaper oils, and long lasting before needing to be replaced. Although it is not the cheapest, as with many things, you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.
A nice oil for many recipes
Shallow fried some fish with this and a small knob of butter. Really good taste and fried very well. Love this oil!
Nothing much to say it does what it was bought for a little over priced but good quality
We’ve cooked with olive oil for years so were keen to try out this premium “I’m a natural” sunflower oil.The oil claims to be rich in oleic acid which helps make it more stable and gives it a higher smoke point so most of the benefits of the oil are retained during normal cooking. We’ve used it for general cooking, a traditional “fry up” and for Sunday roasts. For general use and fry ups it works really well and seems to add something to the flavour. Bacon seems to cook better as well. For Sunday roasts, we tried it first with a pork crackling joint and roast potatoes. The pork joint came out oily so next time we’ll try it again with less. The roast potatoes came out really well and tasted fantastic.Whilst we won’t switch to this for salads, we will use it more in daily cooking. Ultimately, it is good to see a sunflower oil with health benefits, that also adds something to the flavour. It is a world apart from cheap supermarket sunflower oil.
This oil is excellent quality and easy to cook with. It tastes really great and I seem to need lesser than if I used standard oil.
Very good oil without smell. for me, this is very important.
For some reason this sunflower oil adds a new taste that I haven't tasted before. I can't quite put my finger on why it tastes different but it's really nice. So far I have just cooked some fried eggs and bacon with it, but I can already taste the difference from my usual cheap supermarket brand sunflower oil.The fact that this is also a very healthy option is a big plus in my books. I would definitely buy more of this in future, but because of the high price, it might be slightly out of my price range for a regular purchase, or to completely change over my full oil usage to this. Currently I have been using this sparingly due to the extra flavour and high cost.
This sunflower oil comes in a securely sealed and robust plastic bottle. It is a bit disappointing that it doesn't carry the delightful nutty aroma that I usually love in sunflower oil, particularly when used in salad dressings. However, it more than makes up for it as an ideal choice for cooking, thanks to its neutral flavour and high smoke point. The oil is light in colour and crystal clear. The absence of any cloudiness suggests a finely processed product with no impurities. One feature that stands out for me is that this oil hails from Ukraine, a renowned hub for high-quality sunflower oil and its diverse varieties. The Ukrainian origin adds a nice touch, given the country's expertise in producing fine sunflower oil.I would definitely recommend this brand’s sunflower oil for the quality and great value for money.
I’m very concerned about what I eat and given the chance to try healthier options, I was inclined to try it. I had to look up exactly what the benefits of High Oleic sunflower oil were and apparently " High oleic oil is high in unsaturated fat, low in saturated fat, and has no trans fat.At first, I thought it was quite expensive however it works well with everything so far, no taste, no grease trail it’s brilliant. Used in frying and a little goes a long long way with no aftertaste. If you want an oil that will never spoil your recipes or just want to make sure you're using the healthiest oil you can buy then this is it. And if you really enjoy cooking and baking you should definitely have this oil in your cupboard. Very versatile and turns out economical, as well as being better for you
This Sunflower oil endeavours to offer a Vegan friendly and somewhat healthier product by slightly reducing the unhealthy fat level whilst boosting the positive ones. However, its best feature is that it is a lighter oil both in colour and flavour which allows you to use it for a wide variety of purposes from frying to salad dressing. It is especially good when you are cooking delicate fish, vegetables or chips when you are looking for the flavour of what you are actually cooking to shine through unclouded by heavy oily notes. You get 1 litre in the bottle and it is rather more expensive than some rivals but the delicacy and quality of this Ukrainian produced oil is not in doubt making it a very good choice for use with air fryers and pan fried dishes.
