Returns, Refunds & Product Condition Policy – Bazachi

1. General Return Policy

30-Day Return Period (Non-Perishable Items):
Customers may request a return within 30 days of delivery for non-perishable items. To be eligible, items must be:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • In original packaging

  • In the same condition as received

Bazachi reserves the right to inspect all returned items and refuse refunds if these conditions are not met.

14-Day Cooling-Off Period (Distance Selling Regulations):
Customers have the legal right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving goods. Items must be returned:

  • Unused and unopened

  • In resalable condition

Failure to meet these conditions may result in partial or full deduction from the refund.


2. Transit, Packaging & Courier Handling

All orders are securely packaged before dispatch. However, once handed to third-party couriers, handling is outside Bazachi’s control.

  • Minor external damage (e.g. dents, slight openings, crushed outer packaging) does not automatically qualify as damage

  • Claims based solely on cosmetic packaging issues may be declined if the product remains safe and usable


3. Non-Perishable Products (Dry Goods, Nuts, etc.)

Products such as nuts, dried fruits, and similar items are classified as non-perishable.

  • These products remain safe to consume even if outer packaging is slightly affected

  • Items will not be considered damaged if contents are intact and usable

  • Refunds/replacements will not be issued for minor packaging defects


4. Tinned / Canned Products

Due to the nature of metal packaging:

  • Dented tins or cosmetic damage are not considered defects

  • Products will only be eligible for refund/replacement if:

    • The tin is leaking, or

    • The item is unsafe or impossible to open/use


5. Perishable Goods

Due to hygiene and safety regulations:

  • Perishable goods are non-returnable unless faulty, damaged, or not as described

  • Customers must inspect items immediately upon delivery

Strict Reporting Requirement:

  • Any issue must be reported within 24 hours of delivery

  • Claims must include clear photographic evidence

We will not accept claims if:

  • The product has been consumed, partially used, or disposed of

  • The issue is reported after the 24-hour window

  • Storage conditions cannot be verified


6. Chilled and Frozen Items

We use appropriate packaging to maintain temperature; however:

  • Delivery times and conditions are subject to courier handling

  • Customers must inspect immediately upon arrival

If compromised:

  • Do not consume the product

  • Report within 24 hours with evidence

Failure to comply transfers full responsibility to the customer.


7. Expiry Dates & Product Information

  • Expiry dates are displayed where available

  • Customers are responsible for reviewing product details before purchase

  • Requests for expiry information must be made prior to ordering

We do not accept returns for products within valid shelf life unless faulty.


8. Third-Party Manufactured Products

Bazachi acts as a retailer for products manufactured by third parties.

  • We do not alter or manufacture these goods

  • Issues relating to labeling, ingredients, or composition should be directed to the manufacturer

  • We may assist by providing contact details but accept no liability beyond retail obligations


9. Conditions for Refunds

Refunds are subject to the following:

  • Items must meet return eligibility criteria

  • Proof of issue (photos/videos) is mandatory

  • For perishables, proof of proper storage may be required

Bazachi reserves the right to:

  • Refuse claims lacking sufficient evidence

  • Offer partial refunds, store credit, or replacements at discretion


10. Non-Refundable Costs

The following are non-refundable:

  • Shipping fees

  • Express delivery charges

  • Customs duties and taxes

  • Handling fees


11. Sale & Final Sale Items

  • Sale items are non-refundable and non-returnable unless faulty

  • Clearance or discounted products are sold as-is


12. Returns Process

To initiate a return:

  2. Provide:

    • Order number

    • Description of issue

    • Supporting images

If approved:

  • Return instructions will be provided

  • Items sent without approval may be rejected

Refunds are processed within 10 business days after inspection.


13. Limitation of Liability

Bazachi shall not be liable for:

  • Minor packaging damage caused during transit

  • Customer mishandling or improper storage

  • Delays caused by third-party couriers

  • Claims made outside stated timeframes


14. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, customers acknowledge and agree to:

  • All conditions outlined in this policy

  • The limitations regarding shipping, packaging, and product condition

  • Bazachi’s right to make final decisions on claims


15. Abuse of Returns & Refund Policy

Bazachi is committed to fair and reasonable customer service. However, we actively monitor return and refund activity to prevent misuse of our policies.

We reserve the right to refuse returns, refunds, replacements, or future orders in cases where we reasonably believe a customer is abusing our policies. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Repeated claims of damaged, missing, or faulty items without sufficient evidence

  • Excessive return requests inconsistent with normal consumer behaviour

  • Claims made after products have been consumed, partially used, or disposed of

  • Attempting to obtain refunds while retaining the product

  • Providing false, misleading, or incomplete information regarding an order or claim

  • Failure to follow our reporting procedures or timelines

Where abuse is suspected, Bazachi may take the following actions without prior notice:

  • Decline current or future refund/return requests

  • Issue partial refunds only, where deemed appropriate

  • Restrict or suspend the customer’s account

  • Refuse future transactions or orders


16. Evidence Requirements for Claims (Photo & Video Proof Policy)

To ensure fair assessment of all claims, Bazachi requires clear and verifiable evidence for any report of damage, defect, or issue.

Failure to provide sufficient evidence will result in the claim being automatically declined.

Mandatory Evidence Requirements

All claims must include:

  • Clear photographs of:

    • The product(s) in full

    • The issue/damage (close-up and visible)

    • Original packaging (including inner and outer packaging)

    • Shipping label clearly showing tracking number

  • Unedited video evidence (strongly recommended and may be required), showing:

    • The condition of the parcel upon opening

    • The unboxing process (if possible)

    • The full product and the reported issue


Timeframe for Evidence Submission

  • All evidence must be submitted within 24 hours of delivery

  • Claims submitted after this period may be automatically rejected, especially for perishable items


Condition of Product During Claim

  • The product must be retained in its original condition until the claim is reviewed

  • Products that are consumed, disposed of, altered, or tampered with before review will invalidate the claim


Quality of Evidence

Evidence must meet the following standards:

  • Clear, well-lit, and high-resolution images

  • No filters, edits, or obstructions

  • Issue must be clearly visible and identifiable

Bazachi reserves the right to reject:

  • Blurry or unclear images

  • Incomplete documentation

  • Images that do not match the reported issue


Inspection & Verification Rights

Bazachi reserves the right to:

  • Request additional images or video evidence

  • Request return of the product for inspection before issuing any refund

  • Compare submitted evidence against dispatch records

Failure to comply with these requests may result in claim denial.


Fraud Prevention

Any attempt to submit false, altered, or misleading evidence will result in:

  • Immediate rejection of the claim

  • Potential account restriction

  • Refusal of future orders


Final Decision

All claims are assessed based on the evidence provided.
Bazachi’s decision regarding the validity of any claim is final and binding.
