How to use

How to Use:

Measure: Use one heaped teaspoon of Mehmet Efendi Turkish Coffee per cup of water.
Add Sugar (Optional): If you prefer sweetened coffee, add sugar to taste.
Mix: Combine the coffee, sugar, and water in a cezve (Turkish coffee pot).
Heat: Place the cezve over low heat and stir until the coffee dissolves. Do not stir once the coffee starts heating.
Foam: Allow the coffee to heat slowly. As it begins to froth, remove the cezve from heat just before it boils. Spoon a little foam into each cup.
Pour: Return the cezve to the heat and let it froth again. Pour the coffee into cups, ensuring each cup gets an even amount of foam.

Fresh Turkish coffee :)

Great quality and coffee was very fresh. As a Turkish person, my Turkish coffee is extremely important and fresh Turkish coffee is a must. I am glad that the seller did not try to send the stale coffee :) I bought the product in 2024 and the expiry date was 2026. If it was 2025 then it would be unfortunately stale. Always check the expiry date :)

Perfect coffee doesn’t exi..

It does exist..and it’s Mehmet Efendi. Was in Istanbul on a holiday when I tried it for the first time and since then been drinking only this. The best part, unlike most coffees out there, and don’t get me wrong there are plenty great ones, coffee ground with this one stays at the bottom and you don’t get the particles in your mouth when sipping the last bits. Yes, you could use a french press etc, but this needs to be properly made in a cezve to get the most out of the aroma and to fully enjoy it.
