HOW TO MAKE TURKISH COFFEE

MEASURING THE INGREDIENTS

MEASURE THE WATER

The easlest way to measure the water for the coffee Is to pour the water into the coffee cup (fincan) you are using to drink your coffec, but not full. The water must. be fresh and cold.

MEASURE THE COFFEE

Each cup of coffee (flncan) should be made with about one and a half teaspoon of coffee, around 0.16-0.18 oz

MEASURE THE SUGAR

Add sugar upon preferences

Sade: No sugar (unsweetened)

(Medium: 1/2 teaspoon of sugar

Sweet: 1 teaspoon of sugar

(Very sweet: 2 teaspoons of sugar

BREWING THE COFFEE

FIRST STEP

Combine the coffee, water, and desired amount of sugar in the cofies pot (cezve) and stir vigorously to combine all the Ingredients for about 30 seconds.

SECOND AND FINAL STEP

Tum the gas stove to low flame, or an electric stove to low heat and place the coffee pot (cozve) on the heat.

Keep the heat or flame low when you brew the coffee. You don"t want The water to boll, or it will change the flavor of the coffee and destroy the foam that you want to bulld.

When the foam has formed on the top of the coffee, remove the coffee pot (cezve) from the heat and pour the foam Into your coffe cup (fincan). Then, return the coffee pot (cezve) to the heat. This will give the coffee a chance to raise again, which means coming clock 4a ball and creating new foam. You may repeat this process § a unill you have all the brewed cotice in your coffee cup
